Police arrested 3 arrested persons over American’s abduction in Lahore

LAHORE: Police said that they had arrested three people suspected of belonging to the gang that abducted 70-year-old American Warren Weinstein, a development expert from Lahore on August 13. Lahore police chief Malik Ahmed Raza said on Wednesday the arrests were made after officers tracked cellphone numbers. He gave no more details. Weinstein was kidnapped by around 10 gunmen from his home in Model Town.
